New Details Revealed for Upcoming Disney Parks Experiences

It looks like there is a great big beautiful future for the Disney Parks! This week several new details and dates were revealed for the upcoming Disney Parks Experiences, that we can look forward to visiting soon!

Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway


Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway has an official opening! This highly anticipated ride will be opening March 4, 2020, at Disney’s Hollywood Studios! On Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, guests will step through the movie screen and join Mickey, Minnie, and friends like never before!

Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure

The second of the ride announcements gives Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure an opening date also! It will open summer 2020 in the France pavilion at Epcot. Disney also shared a new image featuring the Disney Imagineers at work on this attraction. On Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, you’ll go on an adventure with Chef Remy through Gusteau’s restaurant.

Mickey Shorts Theater

Mickey Shorts Theater in Disney’s Hollywood Studios will show an original short film. This film will be in the style of the popular Disney Channel animated series “Mickey Mouse.” It will also feature photo-opportunity locations for guests.

Looking for something to pass the time at Epcot? Disney’s DuckTales World Showcase Adventure is coming to Epcot! If you remember and loved past Epcot Adventures like Phineas and Ferb, you’ll love this one. Join Scrooge McDuck, Donald, Launchpad, Webby, and the nephews in search of priceless treasure. Using the Play Disney Parks mobile app, guests take a trip around World Showcase discovering exotic destinations, exciting mysteries, and maybe even a few thieves, villains and supernatural guardians of ancient artifacts.

Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser

The opening date for Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser was also revealed. This new experience will begin “transporting” guests to a galaxy far, far away in 2021! This is also a new type of immersive vacation. You’ll explore your own adventure in an experience that surrounds you 24/7 in Star Wars storytelling.

We can’t forget about the food! Official details were also launched about three new restaurants!

Roundup Rodeo BBQ

Upcoming Disney Parks Experiences

Finally, Toy Story Land will have its own fun table service restaurant! Roundup Rodeo BBQ Restaurant is coming to Toy Story Land in 2020! This will be a rootin’, tootin’ rodeo right in Andy’s backyard!

Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts & Barbecue

Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts & Barbecue will open this winter at The American Adventure in Epcot! It will be serving classic barbecue and home-style craft brews. Regal Eagle will celebrate American backyard barbecue with flavors from different regions around the United States.

Space 220 Restaurant

Upcoming Disney Parks Experiences

Space 220 Restaurant is set to debut this winter! This is a new table-service restaurant at Epcot next to Mission: SPACE. When you enter the restaurant, you’ll step into a special space elevator that will take you 220 miles above the earth’s surface and offer incredible celestial views.

There will be three new films that will debut January 17, 2020, at Epcot:

  • “Awesome Planet” in The Land pavilion.
  • “Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along” in the France pavilion
  • “Canada Far and Wide in Circle-Vision 360”
