My sister, Christina and I grew up playing dolls. We spent hours playing with our dolls, clothing, and accessories…we even had Marie and Donnie Osmond in matching purple lame show outfits. But Christina and I never had anything as fabulous as New Princess ily 4EVER dolls. I could almost guarantee that several decades after our original doll years, we would sit down and play with these today!
Dolls
Disney has introduced a new product line called “ily 4EVER” dolls. These dolls look like everyday fans and are themed after princesses. They are as diverse as the princesses we love and feature varying shades of skin color.
The collection has opened with 6 dolls inspired by Jasmine, Ariel, Snow White, Cinderella, Belle and Tiana. Each doll’s outfit is inspired by a princess. What would a day at Disney be without a Mickey balloon and ears? They each come with a pretend balloon that has one of 10 hidden park snack surprises inside. Each one varies and will be revealed when you open it. The dolls are reasonably priced at $29.99.
Princess Outfits and Accessories
Additional accessory packs and clothing can be purchased for $16.99 each. The accessory pack could be a complete outfit with shoes, jewelry, and a handbag or it could be room accessories. The above picture shows one of each of the categories for Cinderella.
There are two accessory packs for Rapunzel despite not having a Rapunzel themed doll. Let your child’s imagination spark with the introduction of additional princess accessories. There’s a great growth opportunity for the ily 4EVER line to keep growing with additional dolls.
As you can see, the accessories play on the strength of the princesses. Such as the cooking magazine in the Tiana pack.
Snow White is a lover of all animals. This pack allows your child to learn how to care for pets including grooming and feeding.
These two additional accessory packs for Mulan include a change of outfits or materials for a day of working out and living healthy.
Belle definitely saw Marie to buy baguettes for her picnic basket. A nice picnic while reading a book maybe? Sounds divine to me!
Accessories packs also teach environmentally friendly lessons such as utilizing reusable water bottles in the Moana pack. Also, sports safety with Ariel’s helmet for roller skating.
As you can tell I’m really excited about these, and I don’t even have young kids! I see a long future in store for new princess ily 4EVER dolls!
