Are you a huge fan of the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival? I can tell that many of you are because it is already super packed around the World Showcase and the lines are growing! For convenience sake, it is nice to have a quick way to pay for your food and beverage while eating and drinking your way around the world. There is always the option many people choose, which is getting a Disney Gift card and loading it with a specific amount of money (it attaches to your wrist). This year there is a new way to tackle the issue. New this year is the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival tasting sampler!
What does this tasting sampler entail, you may be wondering? You have the choice of purchasing an 8 or 16 tab sampler. The 8 tab is $59 plus tax and the 16 is $109, which clearly means there is a bit of a discount if you purchase the larger sampler. If you have been to the Festival before, you know it is easy to try 16 items! These “tabs” are good for a food or alcoholic beverage at any of the Festival Marketplaces. Of course, as with anything, some exclusions may apply. This averages out to about $7.37 for the 8 tab sampler and $6.81 per item if you purchase the 16 tab sampler. I will be honest, if you use this for alcohol or the high end food samples (ie: the filet at the Canada kiosk) then it is worth it. If you don’t, this actually works out to be more expensive. Just an FYI.
This tasting tab sampler (I know, interesting name) is a super easy way to keep track of paying. Pay once, enjoy 8 or 16 items! After you have had a few of the drinks, you may not be able to keep track of finances anyway! You will get the card seen above as well as a limited released Epcot International Food & Wine Festival pin! Score!!!
