Thomas Kinkade’s techniques gave him the reputation as the “Painter of Light.” “Mickey and Minnie in Greece” truly exhibits the skill of capturing the luminous effects of natural light. This beautiful piece features the iconic blue domed homes in Oia, the famous town in Santorini. Mickey and Minnie are in the foreground, happily sipping coffee. Behind Mickey and Minnie, Donald Duck and Daisy Duck decide what to order – with Goofy as their waiter! The best part of all? They all get to enjoy the beautiful view of the glistening sunset over the blue waters of the Aegean Sea.
My favorite part about Thomas Kinkade artwork is the little surprises in each piece. I love all the details! How many cats and butterflies can you spot?
