I just can’t wait to get my paws on this new Lion King Collection. It is giving off major 90s Disney Vibes, and I couldn’t be more excited. The collection revolves around two major themes, which have us singing along with delight.
Hakuna Matata
The first major theme in the collection is Hakuna Matata. There are two items that are here to make our lives worry-free. The first item is this mini-backpack, found here. Timon and Pumbaa appear in vibrant colors as they present you with a leaf full of “yummy” grubs. It’s hard to say no to them because of how excited they look.
In addition to the mini-backpack, there is also a matching Zip Around Wallet, found here. This time, Simba has joined in on Timon and Pumbaa’s fun. I can almost hear them singing as all three of them pop their heads out of the bushes.
I Just Can’t Wait To Be King
The second theme in the collection brings me back to a video game that I played with my best friend Amanda, growing up. In the game, you had to go through different parts of The Lion King Movie. One of the challenges was making it through all of the animals as they were singing and dancing to “I just can’t wait to be king”. Even though I failed that challenge tons of times and was never made king, I still loved the game. Now I can take a bit of that scene’s magic with me wherever I go with this Mini Backpack, found here. All of the animals can be seen singing and dancing with excitement, welcoming their new king. The background on the bag is blue, just like the sky in the savanna.
