I don’t know about the rest of you, but I am so excited about the newest Vera Bradley release. I’ve been following rumors on this for a while and was over the moon when we got the official release date. Since then, I’ve been waiting for any new bits of information to tide me over until this Thursday’s release. I discovered a few details when I stopped by the Vera Bradley store in Disney Springs this weekend!
The most exciting thing I saw was a print of the lining design! While the outside pattern of the bags is a paisley, the inside is floral with castle silhouettes. The center of each flower is a hidden Mickey! This is just beautiful and almost too pretty to be hidden on the inside of a bag.
I was also able to get some logistical information about Thursday’s release. The Cast Members confirmed that they will be taking phone orders but warned that it might be a lengthy process. If you are planning on placing a phone order on Thursday, arm yourself with plenty of time and patience! If you are planning on attending the release in person, you will be able to enter the Orange Garage at 8:00 a.m. All guests will be held there until 9 and then allowed to enter the shopping area. We do not yet know prices for each style, but we do have information on discounts. Annual Passholders receive $30 off a purchase totaling $125; however, $30 of the total purchase must include non-Disney items. Disney Vacation Club members receive a free monogram with a $100 purchase. All guests will be limited to two of each silhouette.

I find this limited release in very poor taste. There are so many people on the west coast who would love to have one but will be unable to do so.
