Tinker Bell Treat is a Feast for the Eyes!

Disney treats are seriously my favorite food group. Ice cream bars, popcorn, pretzels, and candied apples have long been fan favorites, but Disney has recently upped their game by adding character inspired treats. The Maleficient Cone and Peter Pan Float both appeared in August, and guests could not get enough of either one. On Thursday, a Tinker Bell Treat also appeared at Storybook Treats, and it is fun, tasty, and altogether fabulous!

The ice cream portion of this treat is made with the same lime flavored ice cream used in the Maleficient Cone and Peter Pan Float. It is light, refreshing, and a just a little tart. It reminds me of lime sherbet even though this is soft serve. The cotton candy “skirt” is green apple flavored. I was a little surprised at just how much I enjoyed that cotton candy; it was really delicious and not overly sweet. The cone itself was nothing special in terms of flavor, but the aesthetic totally made up for the ordinary taste. The entire thing was topped off by a delicate, shimmery pair of fairy wings made of white chocolate! The wings even leave a little pixie dust behind!

Besides being tasty and adorable, the Tinker Bell Treat is also vegan except for the fairy wings. Cast Members are always happy to leave off the wings by request, turning this into a treat for all eating preferences! You can find this at Storybook Treats in Magic Kingdom. It costs $5.99 or counts as a snack credit on the Dining Plan.

It is still fairly warm in Orlando, and I found this treat to be a perfect way to cool off and refresh myself after a few hours in the park. I also love both Tinker Bell and tart flavors, so this was a must-try treat for me. What do you think? Is it on your snack list for your next trip? Let us know in the comments!
