I recently took my first Trip to Disneyland. Despite being a lifelong Disney fan, I grew up in Orlando and Magic Kingdom has always been my stomping ground. It was an adventurous trip down Memory Lane having the opportunity to ride Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride at Disneyland. The WDW ride closed down in 1998 to make way for the Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. Although the ride is no longer at Walt Disney World, you can still get a piece of the action there. No Wild Ride needed for Mr. Toad’s Popcorn bucket.
The bucket is fashioned after the car in the 1949 movie “The Wind and the Willows, ” and also the ride vehicle at Disneyland. The bucket measures 9″ long and approximately 6.5″ tall. The red car is fashioned with “Toady” the hood and the “boot” opens to reveal the popcorn compartment. Super fun side note: The wheels actually spin on the car!
Look how happy Mr. Toad looks! I think it’s because the popcorn accessory is easy to obtain.
Use the My Disney Experience app to order your popcorn bucket. It will be listed as “Magic Kingdom souvenir release.” Designed to prevent the feverish craze the Figment buckets created, QR codes are conveniently located to scan for quick ordering. No Wild Ride needed for Mr. Toad’s Popcorn Bucket!
