It’s time to play the music and it’s time to shop The Muppets! A brand-new Muppets Studio Collection has arrived at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, and there is a lot here for longtime Muppet fans to love.
The collection is available at Mickey’s of Glendale during D23 Expo and celebrates The Muppets with apparel, accessories, jewelry, collectibles, and plenty of familiar faces. Disney previously teased the Muppets Studio Signature Collection as one of the special collections coming to Mickey’s of Glendale for this year’s event.
Muppets Studio Signature Collection
One of the themes running throughout the collection is the signatures of The Muppets themselves. Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, Animal, Rizzo the Rat, Beaker, Swedish Chef, Sam Eagle, Pepe and more are represented in their own signature styles.
The signature print covers several of the apparel pieces. There is a black short-sleeve shirt covered in gold signatures, along with a light-colored crewneck sweatshirt featuring the same idea in black. If you want to accessorize with your Muppets style, there is also a black baseball cap embroidered with The Muppets Studio logo and a Muppets Signature tote bag.
Character tees give individual Muppets their chance in the spotlight. We spotted a black Rizzo the Rat tee featuring a large black-and-white portrait with his signature embroidered in gold. Bean Bunny and Swedish Chef gets a similar treatments, proving that this collection really did dig into the Muppet roster!
One of the biggest pieces is a black denim jacket. The front features a small gold Muppets Studio logo, while the back has a much larger embroidered version. It has a cool production crew feel that fits the Muppets Studio theme perfectly.
There are also plenty of accessories to go with the apparel. A black reusable water bottle is covered with Muppet signatures in white and features a large Muppets Studio logo. Kermit fans can even pick up a desk mat featuring his smiling face against the signature print.
Of course, Miss Piggy needed something a little more fabulous! Her character bag is done in pink and purple and shaped around her unmistakable face, complete with her blonde hair, ears, pearls, dramatic lashes, and blue eyes. Flip it around and you’ll find Miss Piggy’s signature printed across the back. It includes both handles and a longer strap for carrying options.
The jewelry is especially fun. Gold-tone necklaces feature character signatures, including individual designs for Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy. Another necklace brings several Muppet faces together as dangling charms. These are an easy way to add a little Muppet style to an everyday outfit without going full character apparel.
There are also colorful signature keychains representing different characters, plus an adorable Kermit plush keychain. The long-legged Kermit looks ready to tag along on a park bag, backpack, or set of keys.
Perhaps the most dangerous item for collectors is the Muppets Mystery Mini Tote Bag Charms. There are nine designs to collect, including character-inspired totes for Kermit, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, Animal, Gonzo, Bean Bunny and more. One of the nine is a mystery design, so completing this collection could quickly turn into a mission!
The Muppets have always had a style all their own, and this collection captures that perfectly. There are plenty of recognizable character designs, but the signature print and Muppets Studio branding also give several pieces a more understated, behind-the-scenes feel.
