Poneycomb Tokyo released this line of brand new Disney inspired Kimonos just in time for summer.
As pictured above the line has 6 different design options all featuring popular and well recognized Disney characters.
Each style comes with a coordinating Obi (sash).
This Minnie and Mickey Mouse one is my favorite so naturally, I had to include a close-up shot of the design.
The pink accents are what really made me fall in love with this one. It just ties the love theme together super well.
This Daisy one is a close second. I love the soft pink and the multi-colored sash. It’s very delicate and romantic the perfect color scheme for summer.
The line also features Mickey, Donald, Goofy, and Clarice.
If you’ve never worn a kimono I always suggest trying one on at least once. Not only do they immerse you in what may be a new cultural experience, they are also very soft and comfortable. If you’re ever at Disney, the Japanese pavilion in EPCOT has a place where a Cast Member will help you try one on, showing you the proper way to wear it and will also answer any questions about the garment. I love stopping by there on my days off.
