May the Force be with you, or should we say May the FOURTH be with you! That’s right Star Wars day is almost here, and shopDisney is ready to celebrate in s big way. They are also celebrating the 40th Anniversary of Star Wars: Empire Strikes Back!
Limited items will be releasing from shopDisney on May 4 at 7am PT, including plush, pins, playsets, a droid and more! PLUS the exclusive limited edition Star Wars Disney Store key will also be for purchase!
Ahsoka Minnie Ears
I’m going to start with the item I am most excited about. Ahsoka Tano Minnie Mouse ear headband by Ashley Eckstein for Her Universe. These are the latest release in the Disney Parks Designer Collection by Ashley Eckstein for Her Universe. They are inspired by Ahsoka Tano from Star Wars: The Clone Wars, which Ashley is the voice of! I am obsessed with Ahsoka and Rex so these ears are totally on my list.
Spirit Jersey
To keep the excitement going for the Empire strikes back 40th anniversary, there will be a special tie-dye Spirit Jersey for adults! This Spirit Jersey has a puffy ink The Empire Strikes Back logo and all over tie-dye treatment, plus Yoda screen art.
40th Anniversary
This mug celebrating The Empire Strikes Back has everything! There is Han Solo trapped in carbonite, a lightsaber-wielding Darth Vader, and a thoughtful Yoda and more featured in the artwork of this mug.
Other 40th Anniversary finds will include apparel and a limited edition pin.
Plus there will also be toys for our Padawans!
The Imperial Probe Droid may look like a toy, but this is most assuredly meant for those more trained in the ways of The Force.
May The 4th Pins
There will also be special “May the 4th Be With You 2020” pins! These pins will highlight many eras of Star Wars, including a pin set featuring the Clone Troopers! Clone Wars very rarely has collectibles available, so this is rare holocron indeed.
There will also be a 25% off sale on some of the Star Wars merchandise May 2 and May 3rd! This will be on the already existing merchandise and I’m sure there will be exemptions. Shopdisney is making the beginning of May extra magical!
