Disney Store and shopDisney are taking us on a nostalgic trip down memory lane. The new Forever Disney Throwback Collection rewinds us back to decades past with apparel and accessories inspired by some of our childhood favorites!
Disney is kicking it back to Saturday Morning cartoons, and the Disney renaissance movie era. Fan favorites like the Rescue Rangers, DuckTales, Mickey Comics, and more have given inspiration to these fab finds!
Kicking off the collection is the “Made in the” tees! There are two tees in this collection, Made in the 80s, and Made in the 90s. Each t-shirt features some classic favorites that made their debut during that decade. As a child born in the 80s who obsessed over the Little Mermaid, I might be very drawn to the 80s one. It also has Gummy Bears on it, come on who didn’t love the Gummy Bears back in the day? The 90s tee showcases characters from Disney renaissance movies, like Beauty and the Beast, Hercules, and others you will definitely recognize.
There is an entire assortment dedicated to the one and only DuckTales, a woo-oo! We previously checked out the Loungefly Uncle Scrooge, and Nephews bags not too long ago. I won’t even pretend, that I didn’t go super fangirl over these fun finds! The Scrooge McDuck Sweatshirt is a great coordinating item, that also has golden accents. Uncle Scrooge would be so proud!
I was absolutely obsessed with the Chip ‘n Dale Rescue Rangers. As a young girl who enjoyed tinkering, Gadget was, of course, a favorite too. This purple tee also shows off an “ad” for “Gadget’s Garage” is the perfect way to relive the memories of this fun cartoon.
In the 90s we started to see a resurgence of comic book fandom and pop art. The new Loungefly comic Mickey backpack and sweatshirt capture the fanciful style wonderfully. These items coordinate with panels of a Mickey comic that also features Pluto, Donald, and Goofy!
