Even though the weather may not agree, Disney has decided that it is officially Halloween! Seasonal merchandise began showing up this week at Disney Springs, and it is cute enough to renew my faith that fall temperatures really are on their way.
Ears are my very favorite seasonal accessories. Every year, I promise myself that I won’t buy more, but somehow my collection still seems to be growing. The Candy Corn ears have already found their way into my heart and will probably find their way on to my head before long! I saw these at World of Disney, and they retail for $24.99. Light-up ears are always fun, and I adore both the Mickey o’Lantern and Jack Skellington versions available this year. Both of these can be found at Centerpiece inside Marketplace C0-Op, and the Mickey ones are also available at Disney Corner. The cost is $18.77 each. The orange and black polka-dot ears were a best seller last year and actually ended up selling out well before Halloween. I’m sure lots of Fashionistas are happy to get another chance at them! I found these at Disney Corner for $24.99.
If ears aren’t really your thing (gasp!), this adorable pumpkin hat might be just what you’re looking for! It comes in youth sizes and retails for $24.99. The back says Hey, Pumpkin, which just scoots an already cute hat into “awwww” inspiring territory!
You certainly can’t have seasonal merchandise without wardrobe options, and there are several this year! The “Happy Halloween” shirt comes in both youth ($19.99) and adult ($24.99) sizes. I love that design, and it glows in the dark! Donald is pictured in a devil costume on this year’s merchandise, and his grumpy little face makes me smile! The raglan features him hoarding all the candy, and I can kind of relate. It retails for $34.99 and comes in sizes S-XXL. The Haunted Mansion is always popular, but it is especially festive around Halloween. And really, who can resist a glow in the dark Haunted Mansion shirt? Not this girl! This one is only for adults (but goes from sizes XS-XXL) and costs $19.99. Younger Fashionistas also have the option of a Mickey vampire tee for $19.99 or a tee and tutu ensemble for $59.99. I must admit that I’m pretty bitter that this one is only for the Littles because I find it “totally bewitching” myself. All of these items were found at Disney Corner.
Speaking of Little Fashionistas, four of the Fab Five are wearing their Halloween costumes and are available in plushie form. Only poor Daisy is missing. Each plush is $19.99. Treat buckets are a necessity for Halloween night (or the Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party.) This year, there are two Mickey versions available. The cloth one glows in the dark and retails for $14.99. The plastic version lights up and costs $19.99. These would also come in handy for handing out treats on Halloween night or even just adding a touch of Disney spirit to your fall decor! The plushies and treat buckets can all be found at Disney Corner.
Centerpiece in Marketplace Co-Op has even more home decor items! The door mat and kitchen towels are precious, but that candy bowl is absolutely darling! The mat and candy bowl are both $34.99, and the towels are $19.99 for a set of two. Mickey and Minnie are hosting the cutest countdown ever at their spooky Halloween castle ($34.99), and the votive holder is a classic Mickey o’Lantern. That one never goes out of style! At only $16.99, it is an affordable way to spruce up your Fall decorations. For a really big impact, try the Vampire Mickey canvas ($32.99). It has an almost leather-like feel to it. It would look super cute sitting on a table with the candy bowl shown above.
Light-up necklaces are always fun! While both of these versions have been available in past years, they are classics! The Mickey o’Lantern strand can be found at Disney Corner, while Oogie Boogie is holding court at Centerpiece. Both retail for $15.02.
Light-up is apparently a big trend this year. There are even light-up socks featuring Mickey and his poison apple inspired cauldron. These are $13.99.
Key shaped keychains are another big trend right now. A Jack Skellington one means that you can have Halloween and Disney whereever you go! This one is only $9.99 and available at Centerpiece.
Trading pins are always fun, and there are several new ones out this year. The individual pins retail for $9.99 each while the set is$24.99. The Star Wars pin featuring Yoda is $12.99, and the set with C3-P0 and R2-D2 in their costumes costs $14.99. These are available at Disney Corner.
At its core, Halloween is all about treats! Disney is offering up some adorably spooky and scrumptious looking treats. The cauldron filled with hot chocolate mix is my favorite! There are also tiny Mickey o’Lanterns filled with candy corn, decorated krispie treats and marshmallows, and pumpkin spice frosted pretzels! Some of these treats can be found at Disney Corner, but all of them are at Centerpiece. The best part is that they are all under $10! Now that’s a treat!
So are you overwhelmed and exhausted at the sheer amount of Halloween merchandise out already? We haven’t even had the first Halloween party yet! I’m not complaining though because I love it all! Tell us your thoughts in the comments!
