They say that the best things come in small packages and I couldn’t agree more. I’m just over five foot tall and people think I’m pretty awesome! If that’s not enough to convince you that small things are pretty cool, just take a look at these new Disney Mini Backpacks. They are available exclusively online from Hot Topic. They are the perfect size for everyday use! You might as well buy three or four of them because when they arrive at your doorstep, your family won’t suspect that there are that many in the box!
Disney Princesses
Disney Princesses and their animal BFFs star in the first four bags. Snow White stands in front of a crimson background dotted with flowers. Her blue birdy friends fly happily above her head. I can almost hear them singing a song to her. The interior of the bag is royal blue, which matches the color of Snow’s dress.
Pocahontas, Meeko, and Flit shine on the second backpack. The brown earthy tones and dainty flowers reflect the theme of the movie perfectly! I love finding things with Pocahontas on them because she is one of the rarer Disney Princesses to find. The backpack is extra special because one of my favorite animal sidekicks, Meeko is on it.
Another harder to find princess, Jasmine, appears on the third backpack in the collection. The teal colors and circular patterns of the backpack are reminiscent of the far away land that Jasmine comes from. Rajah sits at the top portion of the backpack almost looking out for Jasmine from afar. His all-knowing look really captured my attention and made me love him even more.
Finally, in the princess backpack round-up we have Rapunzel. The colors of her bag remind me of a twilight sky. She stands next to multi-colored flowers with Pascal gazing up at her from her hands.
Disney Animals
There are also three bags with Disney Animals. The first in the series is the 101 Dalmatians bag. I am crazy about the spotted pattern on each side of the bag! It makes me want to howl with excitement, just like the dogs stacked up on each other on the front of the bag. The black back and interior of the bag complement its white main exterior perfectly.
There is even a dainty mint Marie backpack. Marie sits on the front of the bag, surrounded by pink sparkly bows. The glistening pink accents and interior give the bag that extra bit of class that you can only find with something associated with Marie.
Finally, there is a very artsy looking Lady and the Tramp bag. Lady, the Tramp, and their puppies can be seen playing on the front of this backpack. I really enjoy the watercolor design of the artwork on this backpack.

Are any of these mini-backpacks large enough to hold an iPad?
According to the products dimensions from Hot Topic, these are 11 inches tall. Some iPads are smaller than this and some are bigger, so it would depend what model you have. I would suggest checking Apple’s website for your iPad’s dimensions to double check!
