Those of us here at Disney Fashionista are absolutely dying (pun totally intended) over all the new Haunted Mansion merchandise being released for the 50th Anniversary event! We’ve seen purses, clothing, and jewelry, and every piece has been amazing. And if you want to make your home feel a little more like a (haunted) mansion, don’t worry–there is plenty of artwork to turn any room into a ghoulish delight!
Jerrod Maruyama is a personal favorite of mine. He is most well known in Disney circles for his Kingdom of Cute design, and this one is a play on that. Called The Haunted Mansion of Cute, it features characters and objects from the attraction drawn in Jerrod’s signature adorable style! It’s impossible to look at this and not say, “Awwww.” Jerrod also designed a line of blind box Vinylmations that are too cute for words! Each one will retail for $19.99.
Jasmine Becket-Griffith’s art style perfectly suits the Haunted Mansion aesthetic! Her crystal ball art shows us the sweetest version of Madame Leota ever! This one will also be on select pieces of merchandise such as tees and mugs.
If you want to show your feminist side, this design by Larry Nikolai is for you! It’s entitled Ladies of the Haunted Mansion, and it brings some of our favorite, frightful females together!
The Stretching Room Portraits are some of the most recognizable icons in all of Disney! This design by McBiff shows all four of them, plus several other Haunted Mansion particulars. The purple, green, and gray color scheme really pull this piece together!
John Nadeau took a more realistic view of the attraction in his stunning design called Haunted Mansion at Midnight. The fog and clouds create an eerie ambiance that stays true to the attraction’s theme yet remains elegant and subdued.
Miss Mindy’s figurines are always darling, but this one looks extra special. Every bride deserves to feel unique, but this one actually is; it’s a limited edition of ONE–yes, just one. It will retail for $8,500 but is sure to make some collector very happy!
Sure to be one of the most popular designs of the event is the SHAG design 31 Ghosts. This one will be available as wall art, shirts, and even bags by Harveys!
These designs (and many others) will be available in various formats including canvas wraps and prints, deluxe prints, postcards, magnets, and framed paper. But these will only be available to guests attending The Haunted Mansion: Celebrating 50 Years of Retirement Unliving event at Disneyland. The separately-ticketed event will take place on August 7-8 and August 8-9.
I’m hoping some of this fabulous artwork sticks around after the event and becomes available to the general public. What piece are you hoping follows you home? Let us know in the comments!
